Start using your Mac right out of the box. In this one-hour class we'll give you a solid overview of the Mac. You'll learn how to set up your new Mac, connect to the Web, send email, share photos, organize files, and more. This class can help you get up and running quickly. Then you'll be ready to jump into our Mac for Life classes and master the basics of Apple software.

iPad Intro Class - Free!

This class is designed to give you a good beginning toward using your new iPad. We'll cover most of the important basics, things like how to get on the Internet, check your email, download apps and more. You can get going with your iPad right away, then take our iPad Basics class to learn more.

Mac Basics

If you are new to Macs start here (after you take the free short Intro class). Macs are great for everyday tasks and better for things like turning photos into stunning audio-video, easily creating web pages, and making impressive movies. This class is designed to give you a basic understanding of how Macs work. You'll learn about the operation of a Mac (things like the Desktop, Finder, and the Dock), how files are stored on the Mac, and how to get some simple things done. We'll also cover the Internet and e-mail.

This class is a continuation of what you learned in the Mac Basics class. Where that class focused on an overview of the Mac's working environment, here we'll focus on understanding some basic applications. We'll also take a good look at the Internet and unscramble the mystery of email. We recommend that you take the Mac Basics class before you attempt this one.

iPad Basics

Join us for a great iPad primer. This class will help you get the most out of one. Bring your iPad and we'll go over it in detail for you. We'll cover using an iPad to organize your life and your mail, surf the Web, show-off your photos, watch movies, read e-books, and more. We'll also recommend some of the better apps that are available. This is the class you've been asking for.

iPhoto Basics

This class covers the entire photography process from shooting photos, editing them, and sharing them with friends in a wide range of formats. Learn to organize your photos so you can find them eaily and intuitively. This class with introduce users to iPhoto, part of Apple's iLife package that is included with every Mac computer.

iMovie Basics

With an inexpensive video camera and Apple's iLife package (included with every Mac computer) film making is opening up. Create your story, shoot it, import the footage, put your scenes together, edit a soundtrack, and port your project to the Web or a video file. In this class we'll give you a solid foundation to Apple's iMovie application.

iWork is Apple's amazing productivity suite (similar to Microsoft Office). Many people are under the assumption that you must use Word, Excel, or PowerPoint to be compatible with co-workers or friends. IWork gives you that compatibilty in a better software program.
